September includes the Season of Creation, a time during which churches are encouraged to focus on and celebrate the sacredness of creation and practice earth care, a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment, a time to reflect on the environment and on the ways in which our lifestyles and decisions individually and as a society can endanger both the natural world and those inhabiting it, both human and nonhuman.
